I have always for the DK eyewitness series to be the very best for self touring visitors. The visual displays are excellent, along with the highlights to be seen, the maps, local transport and values for tourists.
I only rated it this low because the print is too small for my older eyes. For many it would be fine but for me it was useless.
Great book. Bought the hard copy pocket size as well as the edition. Hard copy book was just too small to read and the maps had the same issue. edition was wonderful used it extensively with local Wi-Fi in restaurants, bars, busses.

Excellent city map of Budapest that accompanied us everywhere...or did we accompany it?! It's a keeper for the future.

Perfect little book for travel to carry in your pocket. However we will definitely have to invest in a magnifying glass. This is not a good book for researching your trip but it might come in handy for our actual stay in Budapest. Fold out pocket map in the back is a very nice feature! 9/6/2016 update After a few days use, I upgraded to 5 stars from 4 stars. This book is a fantastic little resource. In fact, I just ordered one for Prague too! These will be extremely useful on our travels.
